Self-Password Reset Web Interface


All staff and 6-12 students now may reset their own passwords, after providing information to verify their identities. The website consists of a two-step process that requires enrollment into the system and then the ability to reset individual passwords. The steps below describe the self-password reset process.

PART 1: Enrolling Your Account

Go to this web address: https://reset.auburn.wednet.edu .

You can also select the Password Reset tile from the upper left-hand corner of the ASD Student or Staff Symbaloo pages.

 

The website for enrolling, changing, and resetting your password looks like this:



Click Enroll. Enter a known network username and password. For example, the username might be SMITHJON000 and the password might be 12345600.


 

Click Next. You must answer two security questions: Who is your favorite cartoon character or superhero, and what your favorite food is.


Once enrolled, you will return to the home screen. You can now use the website to reset your password if you forget it.



PART 2: Changing or Resetting Your Password


You have the option to change your password if you know the current password or reset your password if you have forgotten it. Both options are available from the Home welcome screen. The following example will walk through the process of resetting a password.

Select the Forgot my password option. You will now need to answer the challenge questions used during the Enrollment process. See below.



Successfully completing the challenge questions will allow you to Enter your new password. You can enter a new password and confirm it. ***Reminder – 8-character complex password is required. *** 

Click Reset.
A password reset confirmation screen will appear

 
You can now log on using your new password.
